Alfred Werner

Alfred Werner is President of Thunderstick, Inc., a subsidiary of HouseHold Direct (OTCBB: BYIT), which he jointly serves as Chief Technology Officer. He is based in Oxford, CT, with the majority of his current and previous clients in Manhattan, NY, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Starmedia, AON, and ClearChannel, CMSA.

Prior to founding Thunderstick, Inc. he was a founding partner in Online Business Associates (OLBA.com), an Internet Services company in Stamford, CT. At OLBA.com, Werner led website development projects for a variety of commercial and non-profit ventures, including the Sloan Foundation Careers in Science program, Advanced Network & Services' ThinkQuest competition, Time Warner, Juno, Bigfoot, and PC Flowers  & Gifts.

Originally from Washington, Werner grew up in Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from the University of Maryland. Overlapping his studies, Werner served for 5-1/2 years in the US Army in Military Intelligence, where he received numerous awards, including the Martin Kellogg Award from the Defense Language Institute, Distinguished Leadership Graduate of the VII Corps NCO Academy, Language Analyst and Voice Language Analyst Certification, and the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) for "significant contributions to national intelligence".

Upon leaving the service, Werner went to Westinghouse in Linthicum, MD where he joined the AWACS program as Lead Operating System Engineer for a three year period.
